OÜ Hermannuse
Maja was founded as a catering and accommodation service company
on December 15, 2000. The house got its name from the name of Hermannus
I, the founder of the town of Haapsalu, who lived and worked in
the 13th century. The logo of the company has been designed on the
basis of his seal.
The ground floor of the Hermannus House (Hermannuse Maja) accommodates
a beer and coffee room for 50 visitors.
The basement is available for advance reservation for private events
for up to 25 persons. Pool can also be played in the basement in
the opening hours of the house every day.
In the summer, nice weather and tasty food and drinks can also be
enjoyed outside – in the inner court of the house, right beside
the fortress wall and opposite the Osutitorn [Pointer
Tower].
There are 3 double guest rooms (with an extra bed available) on
the first floor of the house.
The lobby and balcony of the first floor provide a marvellous
view of the ancient fortress wall, which makes the hotel an especially
romantic and private place.
